Cassio Goldschmidt

With almost 20 years of experience working with global Fortune 500 organizations, Cassio Goldschmidt is regarded as an internationally recognized security expert with a balanced technical and business perspective. Mr. Goldschmidt’s prior experience includes leadership positions as the Vice President of proactive services for an international consulting company, Head of Information Security, deputy CISO, Sr. Manager of Global Application Security, and founder & advisory of a music streaming company.

Outside work, Mr. Goldschmidt is known for contributions to the security community, universities, industry publications, and industry partnerships. He spoke at many of the most respected international security conferences including RSA, Black Hat, ISSA, CIO Event, ACSAC, (ISC)² Security Congress, FS-ISAC, Better Software, NULLCon, and Global OWASP AppSec in countries such as Brazil, China, India, Poland, Sweden, and the United States.

A qualified assessor is critical for the TPN program and process.

Mr. Goldschmidt was one of the three finalists in the first (ISC)² Americas Information Security Leadership (ISLA) Awards 2011 in the Information Security Practitioner category and endowed with the special Community Service Star award during the same occasion. In 2012 he was one of the finalists of the first OWASP Web Application Security Person of the Year (WASPY) Awards. He is the single inventor of three U.S. patents and the co-inventor of fourth U.S. patent. He has been publicly thanked by Brazil’s Superior Electoral Court (TSE) for finding security weaknesses and providing significant recommendations to improve the security of electronic voting systems used in the country’s presidential election. In addition, He is a member of the Forbes Technology Council, a regular contributor of, and one of ITSP Magazine’s security experts.

Mr. Goldschmidt received a B.S. in Computer Science from Pontificia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUC-RS), an M.S. in Software Engineering from Santa Clara University (SCU), and an M.B.A from University of Southern California (USC Marshall School of Business). His professional certifications include CSSLP (Certified Software Security Lifecycle Professional), CIPP/US (Certified Information Privacy Professional / United States), CIPT (Certified Information Privacy Technologist), CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional), CBP (Certified Bitcoin Professional). Mr. Goldschmidt was among the first 16 individuals to receive the TPN certification in the world.
